Women’s Night Safety Charter

CDA is committed to making our area a safe and welcoming place to visit and work. In partnership with the Metropolitan Police, our professional and friendly Security Team deliver an enhanced level of safety across St Giles, Bloomsbury, Holborn, Clerkenwell and Farringdon. Whether you are leaving work, socialising after work or on a night out, our officers are upskilled to spot signs of vulnerability and are ready to offer assistance when required.

We are supporting the Mayor of London to raise awareness of the Women’s Night Safety Charter, within our business community and how they can work with us to contribute towards London’s commitment to the UN Women Safe Cities and Safe Public Spaces global initiative. You can view a short introductory video below, which explains more about the Charter.

Our Un_Biased project seeks to address barriers affecting women both in and outside of the workplace. As part of this, we are also identifying opportunities within the built environment where interventions applying the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) can be integrated into our wider placemaking delivery plan.

These initiatives form part of our wider commitment to enhance security vigilance and business resilience through the CDA Security Group. Membership and access to our emergency notification app, training opportunities and risk management consultancy services are free. Please contact our Chief Operating Officer, Gordon Brockie, to find out more.
