Our Environmental Services team provides an additional, responsive cleaning service across the CDA area, helping keep our streets and public spaces clean, welcoming and well maintained.

Our team operates Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with dedicated cleaning operatives supported by a supervisor and management team.

We can respond to requests including:

• Street sweeping and litter picking
• Clearing overflowing bins and waste
• Removal of stickers, sharps and other waste
• Graffiti removal
• Jet washing
• Responding to emerging cleaning hotspots
• Identifying and reporting wider public realm issues

We will aim to respond to reported incidents within one hour during our operating hours, subject to the nature and location of the issue.

Some issues require intervention from the relevant council. These can include fly-tipping, broken paving or other public realm defects, and commercial waste enforcement and issues outside CDA’s cleaning remit. Where this is the case, we will report the issue to the appropriate authority and keep you informed about the action being taken.
