CDA Social & Community Fund awarded to local charities

We are delighted to announce the successful recipients of funding, for the third year of our Social and Community Fund

The Social and Community Fund aims to support charitable organisations within Camden and Islington, enabling people to participate and engage actively in their communities. The Fund was open to social enterprises, registered charities, community businesses and informal groups.

Thirteen incredible charities, organisations, and projects were selected to receive grants from this year’s Fund.

  • Opportunities and ideas to address inequality and promote inclusion will be scored highly.
  • Inspire discovery and participation; celebrate the diversity of our members and our local area and all the benefits that it brings to this part of London.
  • Projects or events that support their communities with the rising cost of living e.g. cooking on a budget, opportunities to bring people together and reduce loneliness.
  • Create meaningful connections between individuals, businesses, and places and support our members and other stakeholders to work together to achieve their shared goals.
  • Ignite positive change and move things forward; innovating and challenging the status quo to think differently delivering the best results for our members and the wider community.
