About our new board members

Abdul Hai OBE – Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs at LabTech London Limited

Abdul Hai OBE has been at the forefront of the fight for social justice throughout his adult life—advocating for racial equality, celebrating diverse communities, and promoting economic opportunity for all. He brings a wealth of experience across the voluntary and community sector, local government, and the corporate world.

He began his career as a youth worker and went on to become the Director of Youth Services for a charity in Camden. He is currently the Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs at LabTech London Limited, which owns the iconic Camden Market—a vibrant community hub and home to many small businesses and entrepreneurs.

From 2006 to 2022, Abdul served as a Councillor and Cabinet Member for Camden Council, working to make local government more responsive and inclusive for the borough’s diverse communities. He also co-chaired a taskforce with the Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer KC MP to improve youth safety in Camden. This initiative led to the creation of the Engage Programme, a youth diversion scheme that received £3 million in funding from the Mayor of London and is now operating across the city.

Abdul remains actively involved with several organisations, including serving as Vice-Chair of SME4Labour and as a Trustee of Capital Kids Cricket.

Jeremy Daudin – Group Head of Sales and Marketing for The Zetter London

A French national with dual French and British citizenship, Jeremy Daudin has been a key figure in the UK’s hospitality sector since 2003. As the Group Head of Sales and Marketing for The Zetter’s London boutique properties, he drives significant sales growth and excels in developing high-performing teams and executing successful pre-opening strategies. He is known for building lasting industry relationships and contributing to strategic market expansion. Beyond his professional achievements, Jeremy is committed to community engagement, serving as a trustee for Stonegrove Community Trust, a resident-led local charity based in Edgware that manages the One Stonegrove community centre and empowers positive social action.

Jeremy comments ‘I am delighted to be joining the Central District Alliance (CDA) Board of Directors. I will be bringing my extensive hospitality expertise to drive engagement with the sector within the BID. As an owner/operator of The Zetter, with two properties currently in Clerkenwell and a third soon opening in Bloomsbury, I will also provide invaluable insights directly from a business operating within the CDA’s area.’
