In collaboration with the Metropolitan Police, Camden & Islington Councils, and other key partners, Central District Alliance (CDA) is taking bold steps to enhance safety and security across our business district. Building on our Community Safety Patrol Team and ongoing public safety initiatives, our top priority is ensuring that businesses in Holborn and Clerkenwell are better equipped to face crime and major emergencies.

As part of this effort, CDA has launched a groundbreaking new security app, co-designed with urban risk management experts and the YUDU Sentinel software development team. YUDU Sentinel specializes in global crisis management support, and together, we’ve created a solution that sets a new standard in business security.

Introducing CDA Secure Comms: real-time crisis management

CDA Secure Comms is an ISO 27001-certified, encrypted app designed specifically for businesses in Holborn and Clerkenwell. This cutting-edge multi-channel platform allows businesses, security personnel, and crisis response teams to share real-time intelligence during critical incidents, crimes, or public safety concerns.

The app features bespoke groups that provide secure, GDPR-compliant communication channels. Users can instantly share messages, images, and videos with the CDA Community Safety Team, neighbouring businesses, and district-wide contacts. This ensures that shared information is focused, proportionate, and always secure.

Seamless integration with CDA Alerts

CDA Secure Comms works in tandem with our existing emergency notification app, CDA Alerts. CDA Alerts provides real-time updates on incidents that may affect business continuity, such as protests, road closures, and major emergencies. Notifications are sent via push alerts, email, and text to keep local businesses informed and prepared.
