Cllr Luisa Porritt visits Midtown

Midtown chair Alexander Jan and Chief Executive Debbie Akehurst welcomed liberal democrat mayoral candidate Luisa Porritt to the Midtown BID on Tuesday 4th May.

Meeting at Centrepoint, the team walked along to the Italian restaurant Vapiano where they were met by Country Director Craig Goslin and discussed the affects of Covid-19 with the mayoral candidate.
The team also spoke with Luisa about the impact of BID’s and how they have continued supporting businesses during both the pandemic and through the easing of restrictions.

Midtown were delighted to welcome Luisa to the footprint and for her appreciation of the work the BID’s are doing.
