CDA Presents: Summer in the Street

On the 22nd and 23rd July, we were delighted to host our very first Summer in the Street event, a two-day al fresco event that transformed the newly pedestrianised section of St John Street into a vibrant destination for workers, residents and visitors.

Held across two warm summer evenings, the event celebrated everything that makes St John Street unique, bringing together the local community to enjoy music, delicious food and drink, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. As the working day came to an end, the street was filled with people spending time with colleagues, catching up with friends and supporting the fantastic hospitality businesses that call the area home.

The event showcased a fantastic selection of local food and drink vendors, creating a space that encouraged people to stay, explore and experience the neighbourhood in a new way. Summer in the Street demonstrated the positive impact that well-designed public spaces and community events can have on the local area.
