Supporting the Early Years Curriculum

On Friday 27th March, we were proud to facilitate a memorable educational visit for 30 Year 6 pupils from Hugh Myddelton Primary School to 10 Downing Street.

The visit formed part of the pupils’ curriculum studies on “The Changing Role of Women”, bringing classroom learning to life through direct exposure to the heart of the UK government. For many of the students, who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, this opportunity was more than an educational outing. It provided a powerful, motivational, and potentially life‑changing experience, helping pupils broaden their aspirations and see first‑hand the possibilities open to them regardless of background.

This initiative strongly aligns with CDA’s ESG and social value commitments, particularly in supporting early educational development, promoting equality, and enabling access to experiences that may otherwise be out of reach.

The school is currently preparing an impact report, which will be shared with CDA to capture learning outcomes, pupil reflections and longer‑term educational benefits from the visit.
